A cause close to our hearts are the Mexico Mission trips members of Gordon Uniting Church and other churches spend time building houses for disadvantages families in Tijuana, Mexico in partnership with AMOR Ministries. During the trip, teams of 15 build a house over a 5 day period and also have the chance to explore Tijuana and Rosarito in Mexico and Los Angeles in the USA. Trips are run over December/January and have departed in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2008.

       

Currently one of our young adults, Jono Reid, is in Mexico as a Mission Worker with AMOR Ministries, working with house building teams in Tijuana. To get an update on how Jono is doing, click here.
