From the Minister
What I look for in a spiritual home is a place where I am nurtured and supported in my own journey and search for God and truth; a place that welcomes me for who I am, and where I am, in my own spiritual journey.
Therefore, as a church, Gordon Uniting Church, seeks to be a place that embodies a spiritual home for all who are seeking to be nurtured and supported in their own journey.
As a Christian Church, we seek to be educated and shaped by the Christian Scriptures, by the Christian tradition and the work of the Spirit. As the Uniting Church in Australia, we seek to be welcoming and accepting of people from different cultures, people who hold different theological views, and to work together to proclaim the Good News of God in Christ, and to do this in love.
We want to be a place where people feel comfortable asking questions, feel supported in their faith, and a place where we gather together to worship God.
As the Minister of the Gordon Uniting Church, I believe it is important that we engage with our discipleship and our spirituality in an intentional way; a place where all seek to grow in their faith and understanding in the Way of Christ.
